A publication of the National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities  Summer Camps for Children with Disabilities: 2006

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the latest information from the NDCCD. The links and information should still work , though .

      Introduction
This is a guide to some directories and listings of summer camps. Some resources identify camps available to all children and some are especially for children who have disabilities.

It is also likely that your community has summer camps or recreational opportunities available, that you probably won't find listed in these directories! To find out what's available in your community, consult these local sources of information—your child’s teachers, local parks or recreation departments, religious organizations, fellow parents, and community groups.
